Since 2003, Société Audubon Haiti (SAH) has been at the forefront of conserving Haiti’s unique biodiversity and natural areas. SAH is focused on helping Haitian citizens improve their quality of life by conserving the natural areas of the island.

LANIC is part of the Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies (LLILAS) and the Benson Latin American Collection at the University of Texas at Austin. Since 2011, LANIC has also been a part of the University of Texas Libraries as one of the initiatives that is under the LLILAS Benson Collaboration.

The Division of Learning Technologies (LT) of the College of Education and Human Development promotes innovative academic programs and research-based practices related to the design, development and integration of learning technologies in schools and communities and in corporate, government, and higher education settings.
The division supports two programs, Instructional Design and Technology, and Learning Technologies in Schools, and a PhD Concentration in Learning Technologies Design Research each has its own degree options.
